Projektkoncept

Project concept

  • Mutual learning between staff, citizens, reseachers, and management
  • Participatory design: Involvement of staff, citizens, and research in all project phases
  • Co-creation: Robots are developed in close collaboration between staff, citizens, and researchers

Project phases

  • Team meetings: Researchers introduce themselves and the project visions
  • Ethnographic observations: Researchers participate in the daily life at the center to understand social practices around living in the institution
  • Workshops: Citizens, staff, and researchers identify and discuss, which technologies er possible and make sense to develop
  • Common activities: For securing a closer bond between researchers and citizens and to facilitate mutual learning about technical possibilities, researchers participate regularly in common activities
  • Individual workshops: Citizens, staff, and researchers work on personal robots for individual tasks identified earlier through observations, discussions, and workshops
